RS 900 ball valves are fully welded constructions that need very little maintenance. The sealing is ensured by metallic seats with different constructive variants. The seats are designed so that the force pressing on the ball increases as the pipe pressure rises.
Upon request, the valves can be provided with graphite gaskets for the fire-safe design or with an additional sealing for emergency cases by sealant injection.
The weld ends and the flanges are protected with covers to prevent deterioration or ingress of impurities into the valve.
