SD 710 relief valve is a spring self-actuated valve. When the force exerted by the fluid pressure is greater than the force exerted by the spring, the valve opens automatically allowing the fluid to exit the valve. Relief valves are safety devices which prevent the maximum allowable working pressure in the system from being exceeded. Direct acting relief valves are suitable for air, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and CO2.
