PIG launching/receiving stations are facilities that provide PIG launching and receiving for different applications: cleaning, incrustations and deposits removal, condensate removal from the pipeline, separation of products pumped one after another within the same pipeline, inspection, detection and monitoring, measurement and control, service.
PIG launching/receiving station main components: PIG launching chamber, quick opening closure, PIG holder, revolving crane, carriage, pusher, hoist, safety shut-off valve, pressure indicator, PIG passage signaller.
